Simple but stupid question.

I'm about to start my TR and I ordered a cockpit panel 737-800NG. Unfortunately the website told me they are out of stock and they offer me to purshase the 800.

Are the differences a problem and it's better to be refund or it's similar enough?

Thanks a lot.

..... the 600-900 is the NG vs the classic 300-500.

You made my day. I knew it would be an awkward question.

To be fair if you weren't a spotter or on type you may not know and then being asked by the seller..

I don't know what the seller is on about to be honest. While you get slight variations of the cockpit between 600-900 and different stby instrument options on the 800 flight deck the -800 poster shouldn't be different from a '800NG' poster. Different printing companies?

Maybe different companies. I ordered on flightstore.co.uk

The Aircraft can be split into two. The 600 and 700 have a different overhead air conditioning panel as opposed to the 800 and -900 models. also the doors overhead caption is different on each model. usually overhead posters include the maximum optional fit items on the panels but not the two air conditioning panels. Type ratings are done on the -800 and if you want to fly the others a short differences course is given.
