Just been wondering about this...

Say you're flying for a company on anything like King Airs (or some big helicopter!) or bigger. With all the flying you're doing in the job, (I get the impression there is a max of 900 hours per year) do you still feel the need to get up there and fly for fun. Do you think about buying a small aircraft/share?
With the 900 hour limit thing (correct me if I'm wrong on that) does this apply to all flying, hence if you were to fly privately and log hours against the total, would your employer take a dim view of it?

Will be interested to hear your replies.

Private flying does not count against the 900 hours so you could fly your tiger moth to and from the day job. Once you start to do aerial work, it does count.
