Hello all!
I have another visit to the US coming up.
In my previous visits I have gotten my commercial pilot license, with ASEL, AMEL, ASES, instrument and glider ratings (one per visit). I fly corporate jets for a living.

for my next visit I was thinking about AMES, powered parachute, weight shift or whatever. My question what is the easiest, cheapest or more importantly shortest rating I can get?

Thanks

Not cheapest but the easiest and most fun. I can highly recommend Chester.

AMES - Aircam on floats!!! Supposedly the most fun plane you can fly - $200 an hour.

Not a rating in the US, but are you already tailwheel qualified? No specific time requirement, maybe 5-10 hours, and an endorsement from an instructor. No checkride required. (FAA).

all these suggestions are valid and sound good! I will do my research.
anything more? how does it work if I want to get a sports or recreational license for a class I don't fly yet? or do I can only get commercial license for those?

Sport pilot is training as required I believe. You can get a gyroplane license in around 10 hours.

You can get a gyroplane license in around 10 hours

In EASA land it takes you 25 hours now even if you have 100,000 hours in everything else from Concorde to the Space Shuttle!!!

Sport addons are do-able, beware the aircam though, not sure the FSDO accepts that for a multiengine seaplane add-on.

Plenty of people claim to have done checkrides in an Aircam, Protocom advertise MES in one for $1900, so presumably the FSDO is happy with it. The 914UL has VP props, so it qualifies as complex.

I know, just reporting what I've heard. Their SES was written off recently
