RFFS Category A1 [Archive]

I see some airfields (e.g. Barrow, Coventry) declaring that they have RFFS Category A1 but I can't find any reference to a category A1 in CAP 168, Part-ADR, ICAO Annex 14 etc.

What is it and where is it defined?

Cat A1 (Aerodrome) to differentiate from Cat H1 (Heliport). All explained in UK AIP.
