Have just come back from Tenerife (San Sofia? the southern airport) and on departure, the aircraft (Iberworld A320) appeared to climb to the top of the cloud level (approx 6-8000 ft) then weave for about 5 minutes among the top of the clouds.
Now my point is this, was it just coincidence, i.e. he was following the SID or whateva, and the clouds happened to be aligned in such a way as to make it look like he was having a bit of fun, or was he really just enjoying himself in an A320? i would assume that he wasnt keeping clear of clouds, as he only had to climb maybe 50-100 feet and he would be clear of 99.99% of the cloud.
btw, this isnt a rant, i had fun watching us weave through the clouds. Didnt make up for the end of the holiday, but made me smile :)
