Leaving earlier than filed on a VFR flight plan

Not sure what outcome you are looking for here. It totally depends on the rules around the airport you are departing from and the airspace you are departing into. In the outback/desert no one cares. From a major airport into busy airspace then abide by your TSAT. If you want to go earlier then amend your TOBT which will trigger a TSAT recalculation. Regardless of whether you are VFR or anything else you still take up space on the movement area and in the sky.
