Ray Maule, owner of Maule Aircraft and son of company founder B.D. Maule of Moultrie, Georgia passed away today. Ray was an aviation pioneer and visionary who managed against all odds to keep the company family owned and producing great products through good times and bad. I had the honor of flying with him and spending time with him and his family in Moultrie where he was highly respected for his entrepreneurial skills and community spirit. Ray will be missed.
