I work at AOPA, in the Pilot Information Center. Every week we receive inquiries from people who are interested in learning to fly. They are surprised that there are scholarships available.There some really good websites with scholarships information, but I didn't see any Facebook page for scholarships, so I have set one up.
My thought is to create a community where folks can come and post about scholarships (anything aviation-related - not just flight training), news, recipients, how to complete a scholarship application etc, etc. I plan on sharing this with all the aviation organisations, flight schools & colleges and anywhere else that might be relevant.
I just started setting this up the other night, so it is in the very early stages.
