Good morning everybody. I would like to know, first of all, how a pilot with an MPL license and still less than 1500 hours could find a new job, if, say, made redundant. I have read a lot about airlines not wanting to touch you, so what can one do to get a job?
Secondly, what happens if one gets offered a job in private aviation whilst working under the same conditions as above i.e. MPL license, less than 1500hours on an airline but gets offered a job on a private airline with a new sponsored Type Rating. Is that even possible to consider at all or would the MPL license be limiting?
I have tried to find this answer all over, but as it is quite specific, I couldn't really... Also, for all professional pilots out there, assuming it would be possible, would that move even make sense at all apart from the obvious financial advantages?
Thanks for reading this!
