So, the same question but with a larger geographical spread.

The question isn't about hotels 'near an airfield', it's looking for hotels that are collocated/on/own their own airstrip.

I know of a few in France, and now (to be) strips in Kent, but are there more?

Thanks, Sam.

What's FAB?

Well it could be the three letter code for Farnborough airport.

Or if your a Thunderbirds geek FAB would be a 'Fully Acknowledged Broadcast' :)

Or the word just after 'Absolutely' (or 'Ab').

The hotel at Kirkbride do an amazing carvery on a Sunday, the desserts are top notch also. I always try and plan my landing stopover meal break there when I'm heading back up the road from dan sarf

Does 'hotel' imply a sign on a building say so, or is 'any accommodation' meant?

Hotel I think, 'any accommodation' is perhaps a little wide?

There is a very nice homely farm stay B&B in Lincolnshire that we have used. It is called The Grange and it is at East Barkwith. They don't have the airstrip detailed on their website but it is in the Lockyears farm strip guide. I don't have my Lockyears handy and I can't remember the runway spec but it was huge for our microlight. They can lend you bikes if you want to explore the "flatlands" around their location and the village pub did good food in the evenings.
