Hi,

Does anyone know how does the software calculates the Minima for the alternates under FLT PLANNING ALTN SUMMARY as attached? I went to Jepp pro and look up the alternates and the landing runway, it doesn't match with the minima in the Lido flightplan.

For eg, VDPP, R/w 23 VORDME approach has a minima of 583ft/2600m. It doesn't show it in Jepp pro under the Landing minima.

Am I missing something?

As I understand it, Lido works to a pre-loaded set of RWY specific minima. The runway selection is usually based on wind/RWY orientation algorithm. The selection of the IAP starts at the lowest minima set and is cross-checked against the TAF ceilings and horiz. visibility for that arrival time. Not sure if Jeppe carries this same functionality

Do you know what is the pre-loaded criteria for the alternates minima?
