Question from down-under.

Could someone describe the Virgin Express pilot uniform? Is it the regular navy blue/ white shirt/ tunic (suit jacket) with cuff strips/ pilot cap etc. or is it similar to the seemingly unprofessional look of the Virgin Blue boys in oz.

Oh Dear - the bulletin board police are out in force aren't they.....?

Well have an answer from me - It is indeed a fairly traditional uniform much as you describe. The colour is a very dark blue and the only perhaps slightly unusual thing is that they bear the curl on the uppermost stripe that the european mainlanders seem to prefer which makes it look rather like a customs officer's outfit (from a brits perspective anyhow).

Not sure why the interest but those be the facts.

Thanks Chook.

Do they wear a Pilots cap?

The reason I ask is that the Virgin Blue (in Australia) pilot uniform is light brown, red and white with no pilot cap. It makes them look like a bunch of boy scouts, only not as professional and unfortunately they act like boy scouts also.
