Found this BBC story regarding circular runways. Seems to me it would be nice not having to worry about running out of runway in a rejected takeoff or in a landing with poor braking conditions, but landing while in a banking turn seems a bit unorthodox. Any opinions out there on this?

Do they require a circling approach to land?
