Kind Attn.: Respected Boeing 717 and MD90 EFD Special version pilots.
Dear Friends:
Last night I saw a video "Saudi Airlines MD90 Takeoff from Kuwait City'' in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16lz--Vz7r0www.youtube.com, an MD-90 EFD(enhanced flight deck?) special version.
I'm very curious to know:
In this referred Saudi MD90 Special, how (in how many ways) they set climb power after takeoff with autothrotttle engaged?
The flight deck is like Boeing 717, but the FGCP is of MD80-90.
In a conventional MD90, there is a Thrust Rating Panel (TRP) in the main instrument panel, where the CLB button is there to set climb power. But in the referred plane, I could not see any TRP as the instrument panel is occupied with big displays like 717.
In a Boeing 717, they either press PROF button or pull the ALT knob to set climb power. In MD90 FGCP, pulling ALT button preselects target altitude.
That's all I know. Please help me.
