Help please with aircraft recognition.
Flying low over Elsecar, Barnsley, yesterday, single engined, propellor, low wing a/c with wingtip bulges painted black, straight and parallel leading and trailing edges and tall, squared off fin. Configuration reminds me of F-80 Shooting Star, but that was a jet.

My guess would be one of the Grob 120TP Prefects that the RAF has recently started operating out of Cranwell https://farm1.static.flickr.com/615/32492412563_d859d58427_b.jpg

PA24 Comanche? Some had 'tip tanks.
Alternatively some Mooneys have them too.

Hope this one has been evaluated by Boscombe Down, unlike the G115.
