What is the difference between RNAV approaches and RNP approaches? I know the difference between RNAV and RNP is of the presence of performance monitoring and alerting.
But how the approaches are different?

With RNP approaches, the aircraft must be flown inverted, thus the AR requirement. That is not as easy as it looks.
Special aircraft requirement are that the glass cockpit must be able to rotate 180 degrees to accommodate.
This is why the iPad is so popular.
