Dear all,

Scenario, you have conducted a 1 engine inoperative go around and conduct the after take off checklist.

However when it comes to the descent and approach checklist, should you read the whole procedure from the One Engine Inoperative Landing QRH ie re read the condition again etc... or do you simply go into the Deferred Items area of the One Engine Inoperative Landing QRH ie the approach and descent checklist bit?

Thank you.

Deferred.

But maybe a mention of the new points from the one engine NNC

Ps. The QRH is the book that stores the NNC's.

No, you read the" differred": Descent checklist, approach check list then the landing checklist. No need to mention anything else as the NNC checklist for the "condition" has already been completed.

Just a thought-

Some of the conditions that existed when the one engine inoperative landing checklist was last actioned may now have changed, even if only marginally. At the least an acknowledgement of this, plus a change in landing mass (500-700kg lighter, maybe) before making the decision to go back into the deferred items.
It may sound pedantic, and may be different between companies, but certainly, (from personal experience) this has resulted in an eagle eyed TRE adding a little complication for later discussion at the end of a sim, if they weren't considered.
