Early reports of engine failure at take off, crashed into DFO.

I'm a tad concerned for one of our regulars here...

Latest info seem to say that it's NOT an Air Ambulance but rather a private charter.

Ambulance Victoria have confirmed in a statement that it is not an Ambulance Victoria aircraft.

Mainstream media at it again, jumping the gun and all. Possibly a Kind Island charter flight? Either way - terrible news

Reported by witnesses as being a KingAir climbed to about 100ft, then turned left and descended into the DFO. Not clear if air ambulance or charter. Being told 5 pax on board. Also, seems the DFO was not yet open... let's hope casualties on the ground are nol or minimal.

Horrendous crash, explosion clearly audible and seen from tarmac at Tulla. At first I thought it was out of here.

Also looking at Flightradar24 it appears it may have been VH-ZCR NOT an air ambulance
