Hello

Does anyone know an app with an offline map, like the pilot atlas.

I'm looking for :
- A beautifull offline map
- names of cities, lakes, mountains...
- maybe some waypoints on it
- a blue dot/arrow that shows where I am

No needs for approaches, nav frequencies, etc.

Maps for cars are usually ugly and the pilots app for VFR flights are ugly as well and with too many features.

Sometimes passengers come in the cockpit (bizjet) and ask me "where are we ?"
This nice map would be perfect to show them, instead of "we are inbound MAVEK"

I use "pilots atlas". It has the world down to just over 1:1million level of detail when downloading the HD pack.

You can select layers of all sorts of data, and save your routes in it. It has the underside of an aircraft as the icon.

The Maps.me app is pretty decent, and allows you to download regions for offline use.

Is it actually any good? The reviews aren't that great.
