Hi,

I am going away for a week to Madrid and I have a spare Sunday there, so was wondering if anybody knows any decent airfields/flying schools? Looking to hire a PA28 or C152 for an hour or two with an instructor...

Thanks!

It is quite some time ago, but Quattrovientos was the GA place to be.

Quatro Vientos is the place for Pa 28 hire in Madrid most of the other fields cater for ultralights and microlights.

Haha I thought that too. Thanks for the advice - I booked a warrior II out of Cuatro Vientos with an instructor and I'm looking forward to it!

The district was called Cuatro Vientos before the airport was established by the military in 1911. I suppose this didn't matter at a time when they operated from a field, rather than runways.
