I guess the ground clearance of those engines is different to the ceo which does not help in these cases.

You just have to love the quality of proof reading at the Mail.:ok:

the aircraft continued on to its parking position. Well it didn't make it to the gate in time to operate the return flight to FRA, which was cancelled. It appears to be still at CDG 5 hours later.

The BEA are reportedly investigating. So not such a non-event, after all ...

From some pictures looks like they may have gone off the piste at BD10, was that formerly known as 'ze Delta loop'?

The CDG layout was designed by an artiste with all those curlicues, intersections and odd shapes.
