There was this great thread in Tech Log about Concorde a little while back: http://www.pprune.org/tech-log/423988-concorde-question.html. However with nearly 2000 posts covering a huge range of subjects it is, naturally enough, hard to follow a particular topic.

Over the Christmas holiday I wondered if I could write some data wrangling code to collect all the posts by subject. Well, here it is with all the subjects that I could find in the original thread: https://paulross.github.io/pprune-concorde/docs/index.html

Very many thanks to all the original contributors for taking the time to write down all that information. I hope you find that what I have done respects your original work whilst making it more accessible.

The project page for the software and content is here: https://github.com/paulross/pprune-concorde Please feel free to raise an issue here: https://github.com/paulross/pprune-concorde/issues or even contribute code!

I don't reply here very often, but thanks a lot for that!
Awesome work!

Indeed. Nicely done! I too had thought about an index page of sorts and your creation does that and more PaulRoss.

Perhaps an edited first post on the original thread or sticky link to your creation would be useful.

Thanks for that. If this proves satisfactory maybe it could be used on other long threads. AF447 perhaps.

Stickied, locked, index thread for marathon threads now set up.

Thanks to paulross for the initial entry.

Any further offerings, please start a thread, as paulross did, and I can transfer links to the locked thread for everyone's use.

paulross

This is one of the greatest contributions to this forums ever!

And thank you for the top 20 posters. It would be awesome to somehow reward all those nicks in some way, to show my appreciation for their contributions to science and space boundaries.

Thanks MrSnuggles.

I have just added a table of subjects that the top 20 posters contributed to.

Just want to pipe in and say thanks for indexing that awesome thread.

If I had my way I'd be posting in this and the Concorde thread just to keep it at the top of the forum ;)
