I use:

TAFS & METARS: AWC - ADDS METARs (http://www.aviationweather.gov/metar/data?ids=eghi+lfqq&format=raw&date=0&hours=0&taf=on)
Winds Aloft: IFFDP - FD Wind C (http://www.aviationweather.gov/iffdp/fdwndc)
Same, but geographical: MET'MAP - ORBIFLY FLIGHT SCHOOL - IFR ET CPL AMERICAIN EN EUROPE - FAA IFR AND CPL IN EUROPE (http://www.orbifly.com/member/metmap.php?region_choose=FRA&mode=metar&lang=FRA&view_color=metars)
General overview: Yr ? Weather forecast for Popham, England (United Kingdom) (http://www.yr.no/place/United_Kingdom/England/Popham/)
Unusual but useful: Form to request gramet aero (http://www.ogimet.com/gramet_aero.phtml.en)
Satellite: Infrared satellite images of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Clouds in Norway, Sweden, Denmark at night and in the evening. Weather Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Satellite Weather Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Rain in Norway, Sweden, Denmark - SAT24.com (http://en.sat24.com/en/scan/infraPolair)
Greenland: Greenland Weather Map (http://www.weather-forecast.com/maps/Greenland?over=pressure_arrows&symbols=none&type=wind)

And for notams: https://pilotweb.nas.faa.gov/PilotWeb/

Perhaps some of these are useful for others, perhaps others have better ones?

Safe flights, Sam.

What does the esteemed assembly make of this? It's a weather map with live and forecast:

NorthAviMet (https://www.northavimet.com/systemsider/login/), the best source for NAMcon countries - Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Norway and Sweden, requires a Login which is granted upon request for pilots expressing interest to fly there.

Weatheronline (http://www.weatheronline.co.uk/cgi-bin/expertcharts) or Wetterzentrale Topkarten (http://www.wetterzentrale.de/en/default.aspx) the comprehensive access to data for weather calculations with all common models including GFS (US), ECMWF (European), WRF and ICON (German), HIRLAM (Dutch), ARPEGE (French) and GEM (Canadian). Requires to build up some interpretation skills, as the flood of information may look confusing at first.

I find this one quite useful for the UK pressure patterns etc., on top of the MET Office GA info.

An icing forecast that hasn't been mentioned yet and which I have found to be pretty accurate:

www.ippc.no

Lets you check METAR, TAF and NOTAMs worldwide for both airports and FIRs, as well as weather radar for the Nordic countries (Under the 'Briefing' tab at the top of the page). You can also file flight plans there.

Does anyone know if the www.ippc.no site allows flight plans that are completely outside Norway?

Thank you CBS for the WindyTV link. Weird name, fantastic weather (and notams) - been watching for the last couple of weeks and it's really, really good!

Thanks!

Yes. Used it a lot for Europe trips.

You do have to call the AIS office at Oslo airport to confirm your flight plans after you've filed them. The phone number is +47 64 81 90 00

They are also very helpful on the phone. I've filed entire flight plans on the phone from the car on the way to the airfield.

Aviation Weather >> Europe > AVWX.info > metar taf sigmet notam winds aloft significant weather information (http://avwx.info/) is a useful compendium of European sources. Ignore the home page advertising and go through the drop down at top left.

This used to be the old euro.wx.propilot site.

Clearly not weather, but a really nice graphic display of UK notams:

National Flight Planning Map | NOTAM Info (http://notaminfo.com/nationalmap)

Safe flights, Sam.
