Hello,

Just curious as to what these certificates are and what the difference between all these certificates are?

Thanks.

EASA is erasing JAA I believe. CAA I don't know.

CAA stands for Civil Aviation Authority. UK CAA is the UK one. Then IAA is the Irish CAA, ENAC is the Italian CAA, ULC is the Polich CAA... I think we use CAA just to refer to the national competent authority of the state concerned.

Forget about JAA, it's dead in the dust. EASA replaced it and it's the equivalent of FAA – so was JAA.

So, if you want to fly all over Europe, you would need to get an EASA certificate? And the EASA includes the UK?

EASA does not issue licenses.
