May be talking out of one's bottom here so please do advise, air law was a long time ago.

I understand that to carry a passenger, one requires 3 T/O and landings within preceding 90 days.

1) To carry a passenger in a SEP/MEP, must those 3 circuits be completed in a SEP/MEP? Or would turbine time in those 90 days 'unlock' all classes of acft?

2) I read somewhere on here that if you are in possession of a current instrument rating, your night currency is automatically renewed even if the 3 circuits are done in the day time. Correct or nonsense?

Thanks very much.

It would be helpful if you were to state under which regulatory system you operate.

I once learned you have to be current on rating, so 3 on type for passengers, which would mean no substitution of SEP by SET. 2 must be nonsense as EASA IR can be issued day-only. I heard that IR current always includes Night only for FAA PPL, but they dont do that night separate thingie anyways.
