Just heard about this crash. Very sad, as I've flown with the pilot when I was visiting Canada from Australia. He is a very good family friend with great experience and knowledge of aircraft, having owned and flown other aircraft that require greater a greater skill level than a cessna 206.
Condolences for the passengers and best wishes for the pilot with 50% burns :(

Was there any update of this crash investigation? I've only heard from friends (little contact and understanding as they speak french), that engine stalled after take-off.
How is the pilot?
