Some years ago, I recall a very entertaing JFK Ground Frequency audio tape, the time ground movements entered grid lock due to congestion and a simple overload of the frequency/s. Could have been as long as 15 years ago. I'm guessing that eventually two large aircraft came nose to nose on the inner, or some such.......anyway, anybody know where it would be. Couldn't find it via Google, but might be on one of the aviation or comms enthusiast sites....

I recall a 45 RPM disc from about 50 years ago which was about a BOAC flight from London to JFK and included all the R/T. Well, it claimed to be R/T but I strongly suspected that it was actors doing the talking!

When I worked on a US navy base in the Caribbean(yes that one!)one of my compatriats had a recording of a speedbird flight on approach to somewhere. It had been doctored a little so it could have been anywhere so we played it on the base hand held radio system ,it brought out lots of people looking for it!!!

All the ex-BOAC chaps I knew sounded like actors :)
