Not sure if it has been advised on another forum but Dave Massey-Greene passed away this week.

Great guy all round and particularly as we worked through all the issues associated with FANS1/A in the mid 1990's.

Funeral to be confirmed but seems it will be in Sydney next Wednesday. I cannot make it but it is to be hoped some one remembers to take some bottles of J&B to the wake.

That's sad news. I have very fond memories of a happy, smiling, life of the party DMG when he was an instructor with the RAC of WA (a seconded Qantas cadet).

While it's nice that Qantas remembered him with a press release, it would have been even nicer if they'd spelled his name correctly. No "e" in Massy.

David was not only an inspirational pilot, he was an inspirational person. He set a very high standard for the rest of us to aspire to.
