Transavia have had a small success already in their new base in Munich just 2 weeks after they opened their new base. They have received over 10,000 passengers within 14 days of operations.

They are aiming to become a pan-European airline and invest in new markets around Europe. The first step to this aim has been the set up of a base in Munich.

What other bases could Transavia set up base operations in? Italy? Spain? More France?

Also could they start operate long-haul flights out of there current hubs like Amsterdam and Paris in a similar way to Norwegian Long Haul?

They have tried Denmark but retrenched already.

AFKL use the Hop brand from French regionals (with full AF codes) - they may just merge these.

Would expect AFKL to know something of the typical flexible fares markets by now - Could see a UK operation of some sort - Perhaps Luton or Finningley might work.

Certainly Belgium and Western France/North West Spain would fit.

As to long haul could just see AFKL following the LH Group trend on a few tourist heavy routes deploying the TRA lower cost base with say hand full of A333 models operating for the parent rather than standalone.

As for a Luton base for Transavia, that might be difficult due to a lack of overnight parking and peak morning slots currently?
