Hi

Does anyone know what the 737NG trigger is for sink rate. Book says excessive terrain closure but a no mention of figures?

Regards

It generally depends on the version and type of EGPWS installed, so it's best to ask your company to provide you with the appropriate graph from AMM.

Below is an example, but it might be different for the specific aircraft you are flying:

Normally the caution threshold is 2200 ft/min around 1000 AGL and 1500 feet/min around altitudes 500 agl decreasing to 1200 feet about 200-50 agl.
A caution of unstable approach in pitch under most of cases.

If you work on 30 seconds to impact for "Sink Rate" and 20 seconds to impact for GPWS Pull UP - you won't be far off.
