Hello everybody!

I have a question for those who use ADS-B receivers.

If I have a (separate) ADS-B receiver inside my airplane, am I able to receive data also from the ADS-B out of my own plane?

Hope it makes sense.

But don't be surprised if it does not!

A transponder output of 100W or so at a distance of 1 or 2 metres is quite likely to saturate your ADS-B receiver.

thank you for the answers!

I also have another question. Is there a way to acquire airdata (IAS mainly) in order to display its value on a portable display (like EFB for instance)?

Is there a physical connection to the cockpit or to the pitot-static system?

Thank you.
