LIDO recently published a new way how the inicial call to ATC in NAT HLA should be made, starting Jan 1 st. Thereīs no more the need to state "CPDLC and ADS conected" and no read back of the HF frequencies are necessary.
The canadian AIC 30/2015 explains that this new procedure was adopted in a NAT IMG meeting as a proposal amendment until a new edition of the GOLD is issued.
You can find the same explanation in the portuguese AIC 9/2015.
I couldnīt find this amnedment in the UK AIP nor in the ICAO web page.

Does anybody know if this is really beeing implemented?Iīm still hearing everybody making the same old call.

A case of 'old habits die hard'.

Procedures are now as the docs state but I can't see any HF Radio Operator getting too stressed if crews persist in making initial calls as per the previous method.
