Discovery flight in London Metropolitan Area

Hi there !

In August I'll start my first pilot classes but before that I would like to do a discovery flight in a C152 or something like that. In July I'm going to travel to the UK mainly to improve my English and would be great to get in touch with the British aviation. I will stay near to Brentwood, so I don't know if it's an aeroclub near to this location.

Any advice?

I do not care if a particular offers me a flight ;)

If by 'Discovery Flight' you mean a 'Trial Lesson' then I would think Stapleford would be the nearest airfield.

If you are in the UK for a while then there is no need to limit yourself to airfields near London.

You may want to look a bit further afield and make a day of it.
