Hello, I hold FAA CPL license and ICAO CPL, my company is going to do my type rating for my ICAO license because is the one that I need to use, but I want to as well add the Type to my FAA licence, Im taking the ground school outsite US under the local ICAO Authority after that Im going to MIAMI-PAN AM just to take the SIM leasons and take the checkride for the ICAO License

What I have to do to as well make the addition to the FAA License? May I just ask in Pan Am to designate an FAA Checkrider and take the FAA checkride when I finish the ICAO stuff? Or I will have to take Ground school from and FAA certified school?

Thanks appreciate your help

Ask Pan Am what they require but the basics are found in 61.63(d). You'll need a sign off from an "authorized instructor." You may run into problems if the evaluator is limited to students of Pan Am's programs.
