What is out there in the Pacific, 500nm from the coast of California that requires a grid MORA of 4200'?

Heliostat? Pacific gyre plastic mountain? Aliens?

Seriously though, it shows on JeppView and I'm curious.

There is no Decepticon base built on the remains of the crashed star cruiser Nemesis in the Pacific, and the Autobot starship Ark will not be located in the side of a volcano.

Is that a guess or legit info?

Probably an insertion area for the Navy E6 that does submarine communications.

Just guessing, but I'm pretty confident in my guess:)

TACAMO? They still fly those?

Yes they do still fly them out of Tinker AFB in Oklahoma. Go figure that one out. I think the airplanes and crews rotate to seaboard bases for the missions.

Boeing just finished a new cockpit mod that makes it look very similar to the new C46 and 787.

Looking for that information now.

I am pretty certain. Looks like the Navy uses this area to live fire, including missile intercept...

Found these references to the Erben Tablemount

"The other two hazardous rocket impact areas are centered approximately 100 miles southwest of
Dehlinger Seamount and 75 miles west of Erben Tablemount off the California coast.
Lehner said the upcoming launch has a “primary objective of striking the target missile.”

Tinker is major maintenance depot for the KC-135 fleet, and I presume, the 707-derived fleet as well.

AF or Navy, different paint scheme I suppose. :oh:
