Was on a road trip this weekend driving from Flagstaff to Havasu, the sky was partially obscured with cloud at about 5k AGL (which was ball park 10k AMSL). Drove thru an isolated thunderstorm with rain falling heavily for about a mile, basically bone dry and clear then torrential rain for a mile then bone dry and clear again, what really caught my attention was the temperature dropped from 90F down to 72F and back up to 90F in the time it took to drive just over a mile.
The weather and its extremes never ceases to amaze me, anyone had similar type experiences while actually flying?

I was flying south in UK around the Luton area in T shirt weather one May. I was at 3'000 basking in the sun at around I would say 20C in the cockpit. Within seconds of flying under quite a normal looking Cu I was in a snowstorm on instruments and I would say the temp dropped 15 degrees instantly. After at the most 30 seconds I was back in the sunshine and the cockpit temp was back up to where it was previously. Nothing was forecast so I passed a Pirep to the ATC unit I was working.

Can't beat the good old British weather.
