According to the recent CAA press release Birmingham is one of the infringement hotspots;

http://www.caa.co.uk/application.aspx?cl&nid=2462

My home base is to the north of Birmingham airspace (about 4nm). I have some specific questions which may help me and other local pilots stay out of Birmingham CAS.

1 Is there a map showing the location of the hotspot? I assume it is not a general problem over the entire zone.

2 The release mentions;.

“Working teams, made up of local pilots, airport operators, air traffic controllers and CAA representatives, in each of the ‘hotspots’, have agreed the targets and committed to delivering the reductions through improvements to current procedures by December 2015 “

Anybody been invited to any meetings in the Birmingham area? Anybody know who gets invited? Anybody know what the targets which were agreed for my area are?

3 Is there a detailed breakdown of Birmingham infringement data? Are most local pilots or people transiting the area? Any particular airfield represented more than would be expected?

If “GA” is getting the blame than it would be nice to be given sufficient information so concerned local pilots can work to reduce the size of the problem. No point working with local SEP pilots if the issue is transiting helicopters!
