View Full Version : Where to find IFR and VFR rules?

Hello,

I want to review the IFR and VFR from the official documents. The ANO seems not to include these any more (well, not the ROTA section at least). SERA on the CAA website seems to consist of many many scattered pages of delay notifications, notices of proposed amendments, implementation updates etc, but no meaty document that actually answers my question. Where do I go for the current, in-force-today rules?

Many thanks ;)

ENR 1.2 and 1.3 should give you what you're looking for.

Thank you! :ok:

You've saved me from chasing my tail on the CAA website all evening.

From the official documents? Part-SERA (http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexUriServ.do?uri=OJ:L:2012:281:0001:0066:EN:PDF) Section 5 (pages 21-24).

From the official documents? Part-SERA Section 5 (pages 21-24).

....which, for the UK, must be read in conjunction with the Rules of the Air Regulations 2015, an unofficial copy of which can be found in Section 2 to CAP 393 (http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/33/CAP%20393%20Fourth%20edition%20Amendment%201%20April%202015. pdf), or here (http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2015/840/pdfs/uksi_20150840_en.pdf) if you want the official version.
