Just became acquainted to satelite outage notams, is it really necesary to deselect satelites on MCDU like we do VORs?
I was flying RNP AR for another company and this never came up, only RAIM check was required.

In Honeywell FMGS after deselection of satellites it can show availability of GPS 15mts. before and 15mts. after ETA.
