China WGS-84

With China WGS-84 compliant (per JEPPCO), however, with no co ordinates published in AIP-China, is it legal doing approaches and departures with GPS on?
I would appreciate some thoughts and some airline policies on this ..(de identify co name if you like)..thanks

Our Operations department sent out a directive before Christmas that the GPS is now to remain on at all times. B777 and B787 operation.
