With my CPL and soon (i hope) IR included with around 300ish hours, in these difficult times, is it a case of who you know to get in that door? what is a good process and how do professional pilots look at the FI for constructive hours?

Lots of questions I know, who made it through the door with low hours, who didnt, what are the pro's and con's
