Hello, Boys and Girls!
I'm new to PPRuNe and this is my first entry. I decided to start this new thread as I haven't found answers to any of the questions bothering me

I am a TWR controller working at a small international airport in Poland, doing both instrumental aerodrome control (ADI) and procedural approach control (APP). I've had my license for 2,5 years now, experience with all kinds of traffic (communication, military, training, gliders, parachute jumps, etc, etc). Fluent English, fluent German, communicative level Russian, mother tongue Polish.

I've always wanted to live in Germany (partly because of my ancestry). I just turned 30 and decided this would be the perfect time to move. Do any of you have experience concerning the recruitment process for non-German-citizen licensed ATCOs? I'm interested in both DFS and The Tower Company.

If any of you would like to share some knowledge about working in countries other than Germany, both within and outside of EU (especially USA), please do! :)
