A question for Concorde pilots here.

Waiting for the flypast here (or have i missed it?) and was just woundering who gets to do the flights with the red arrows - special charters - royal flights etc etc etc.

Is it just luck of the draw or is it handpicked/pick yourself people like Mike Bannister (think I've got the name right - cheif Concorde pilot right? - sorry don't see Concorde much down here at EFG) .

As cabin crew for B.A. if there's any nice little charters or special flights to do it pretty much luck of the draw as who's on standby at the time and available to do them as who gets them. However we now have CREW IDOL which has just started where cabin crew nominate their peers in a "contest" and the winners get to do these "coveted" flights (does not involve singing whatsoever!! lol!!!). Is there a FLIGHT CREW IDOL in the pipeline at B.A? I've got my votes ready!!!!:D
