By the way...

Does anyone here has a nice material covering cold weather procedures?

I'm from a country where will be virtually impossible to do any of those procedures during my entire career and, altough the 737 supplementary procedures covers this kind of scenario, I would like to gather some knowledge on this matter.

If anyone could help, I would be really thankfull.

:ok:

Sorry, but this is a load of crap.

I can also invent a list you know...

These lists are company related, and asking things like this is ridiculous.

Ps.min the list, number 3 and 5..
How exactly will you do this?! ( except, if flying pax. By looking from the windows in the cabin?)

Ridiculous list.

Why on earth should anything like this be a memory exercise anyway?

Never seen these segments in the snowy part of Europe, looks like something a deskpilot conceived. Only time Ive seen any inspection is on MD80s and similar.

The list comes from the same office desk as PIOSEE, RIBETS and Double Briefs. It all looks good on paper.

I`d suggest finding some info from operators around Arctic circle. I do not know how much they publish for open usage, but worth trying. Canadians, Finnair,Scandinavian,Greenlandair,etc... -and Yes,sometimes it was a practice to go to cabin and check the wings again, after deicing. No passenger ever complained about that. "Better to be safe than sure". Common sense is the best guideline in here. I.e. ,if You are worried about it,then you have to do something about it. Your worry is a good one to think about, while making decisions.

Double Briefs?

Layer upon layer brief for non-precision and visual approaches. Briefing everything from where to select flaps to automation modes to be used. Beautiful idea, till the plan changes at short notice.
