Has the master roster been locked out by the company? Tried to look up a few friends roster but they don't have anything in them after December 31 2014.

Normal procedure during CC

Will be locked out soon after the latest spat between the AOA and the DFO.

No way they will lock it out - how else will guys accept their Outstanding Notifications?? Crew Control would cumble without people helping them out with those clicks

I'm not sure they will lock it out either.

After all, didn't the DFO basically say that he expects everyone to continue working "according to established practise and custom"? I would expect that that would apply to him and his crew controllers as well!

Plus, how do you let the master roster be viewed by the Brits and Aussies? Taking it away would surely be a breach of the "good faith bargaining".

Been done before. They do not shut out you viewing your roster just everyone else's, so that you cannot data troll. Nothing to do with "good bargaining" either, data privacy.

You can also elect not to show your roster to anyone.

I hope RF sends a suitably obscure denial in reply to their letter.
As obscure as some of their replies to AOA.

Unfortunately he is arrogant and stupid, a bad combination. And now clearly he is running scared. So in a volt-face the good cop, bad cop combo will no doubt put out her massage tomorrow. Me thinks that the fog is clearing and that perhaps cc is beginning to have an effect.

Clearly they are worried that the minority of G day workers are going to be busted and for fear of being outed refuse to work on g days ,so it looks like CC is having an effect already I must admit I didn't expect them to close the master roster this soon after the start maybe the impact is being felt earlier and quicker than we expected

But never mind the master roster what happened to my Feb roster its 10:30 and it still isn't out

Unauthorized use of private data it is not.
Ever since RP04/07 was introduced, part of the condition was we were to have access to others roster (if they agree) to assist with swaps, proffers etc..

How you plan to use that data is a private matter. Much to CX's frustration, thought crime is science fiction.
How you use that data may be in breach of regs but there's no suggestion that has been the case.

Access to others rosters is not a convenience. It was a hard fought agreement.
CX can't remove the sections that are inconvenient (remember the former GMA PW's abortive efforts to remove proffering as it cost the company too much??)
Unless they want to go one for one.
They remove crew direct.
I go back to 700 hours.
That would definitely be worth abusing/intimidating some "crew notification", "G day hero" for.

The reality is, They are having serious problems writing a roster for the task at hand. The number of charters we've been turning down while pushing planes to remote corners of the airfield is getting a few senior managers/directors concerned. His scapegoat is the nasty pilots. His making an issue out of nothing as a distraction.

A question.

Is using your emergency contact information eg: calling your wife's number to notify you of a roster change in contravention of the privacy ordnance?

Curtain Rod.

There are a lot of inaccuracies in your comments about KA - particularly the time to command at KA. The latest commander has only been in the company 2.5 years! And there are three airlines in the CX group. Be careful what you wish for!

The "sweet deal" was more about the numbers leaving and not about CC. KA had been in CC for about three years, and there's no doubt people were getting fed up - and pay was of course static. But retention was the main aim of the pay increase.

Is the 10 weeks annual leave you refer to for existing pilots on the old contract only? The Dragonair website says 42 days annual leave.

Captn_Kirk

They only need 4 leave days to make a week (4 leave days + 3 days off)

And seniority accrues more leave.

And seniority accrues more leave.

Not on the new contract. It's capped at 42.

1. Pay
2. 10 weeks annual leave
3. 25 year housing with a one time re-finance allowed
4. Medial paid for
5. University paid for kids
6. Shoes paid for
7. Passport renewal paid for
8. Travel fund

Most of this was in place when CX bought KA - and they tried to get rid of many of them but failed, and not all apply to the new contract. Rather than speculating on an open forum, why not get the AOA to talk to the DPA to find out the facts. Going to the table with misinformation isn't going to help your case.
