There is currently a hostage situation with what appears to be 2 gunman demonstrating support for ISIS.

As a result YSSY has been shut down and airspace around it. Anyone at the airport? Must be chaos.

Best wishes to the hostages involved in the siege.

Sydney Airport was NOT shut down. There has been minor diversions around the CBD airspace.
