Afternoon all,

I have been asked to get performance data for the A319, for the routes which we fly at the moment.
I had hoped to contact Airbus to get em to draft up a few "flight plans" for the routes we have in mind so we may compare the fuel burn etc with the machine we currently operate , but unfortunately I cannot find any contact number/ email address etc for them on the net...

Any one any ideas???

not kidding hobo....

got through to Airbus Office in England and the lady who answered told me she couldnt help me cause i didnt have a "contact name" at airbus for her!!! She then explained after 8 minutes that the england office is concerned with making wing parts..

all i need is a flight planning contact at airbus... I dont care if it is on the moon!

Outta idle curiosity, what machine do you currently operate?

2OP: I see your point. Helplines are no good for your cause.

Unless you already tried, why not use some networking contacts to OPS people in companies around who operate the type, or perhaps your flight planning provider that may have A319 model somewhere in the databases?

Once you talk to manufacturer, there will be a _lot_ of smoke and mirrors from sales, marketing, and their legal too.

PM available.

hey FD

yea, i know what you mean re sales people etc

Have also spoken to few Ops organizations out there who operate the type but no joy cause they say they dont operate the routes i want checked out. Too damn lazy to help me thinks!!

Have requested the flt planning organization we use to assist so hopefully tomorrow a.m I will hear.

I was just surprised that Airbus dont appear to have an office I could contact to find what I need esp as there is the strong possibility we may run with taking 3 of their machines if the figures work out...

They run a bussiness, I learned to respect that. If your company is looking at the aftermarket, there is only precious little for them to have and they do behave accordingly.
