Does anyone know about some job opportunities in VIP/private aviation?
I already have experience.
The ideal thing would be a rotation schedule but I'm up for anything.
Anyone could give me a hint? Please....
Thank you a lot .

What type of experience do you have? Are you currently flying VIP?

Are you willing to re-locate?

The biggest issue you will have, as have I, is that people want VIP/Private experience. Usually a minimum of 2 years. And, it is a big of a vicious circle as you can not get a job to gain experience, because you don't have the experience, but no one will give you a change to get the experience in the first place.

I would recommend getting some catering training through a jet catering company, in one form or another. I am not suggesting taking a full VIP course, but you will find a lot of the better catering companies offer short day courses to Flight Attendants to help them with the catering side of the job, which is the biggest part of it.

Most jobs are not advertised, but the ones which are, are usually advertised on sites like Flight Global jobs, Aeroprofessionals and the likes.

Good luck!

There will always be a small number of operators and owner who want a lady in a short skirt with a certain "look"… However, in my experience, the experience and ability of the person to do the job tends to come first. But, I wish you luck with your search and change. :)

Agencies like Oaklands are frequently advertising for VIP/VVIP F/A's you regularly see the ads on Aviation Jobsearch but I've never seen one yet that didn't want first class or business experience of at least two years. Traysurfer makes a valid point, to spend your time learning more about the catering side would be useful, in commercial your catering uploads are a simple matter of numbers whereas in private you are actually menu planning, quite a different ball game.

As expatinaction says, it is more about menu planning and provisions ordering and sourcing.

All that "stuff" that just "turns" up, like milk, lemons, ice, newspapers, magazines, cabin amenities, cleaning materials, linen etc… That is all down to the FA. As is the loading, storages and presentation of everything, the cleaning and provisioning of the cabin. Washing all the dishes, glassed and silverware, or arranging for it to be done, laundry for the bedding and linens, and then, when you land, another hour or two on the plane making sure it is ready for immediate departure if required.

And, if on a multi city/day itinerary, arranging for your next lot of catering to be ordered and delivered and if different passengers, creating new menus for them etc. Plus, a lot of people will expect a little bit or errand running like personal shopping or something specific for the flight that you might have to go and find and search out in a city etc.

Have you looked at Qatar Amiri?

If you look on LinkedIn, you can find recruitment consultants who recruit for them etc. Large operation and can maybe be a good first step.

I have 7 years with a private airline. I've been looking for a VIP position for almost a year now. If anyone has any contacts please let me know. I know black girls aren't the most popular in regards to being hired for these positions. I will keep trying for a few more months though. Hoping there is a great company out there looking for a great worker like myself :ugh::)

hostessmostess, hello…

If you go up to the Biz Jet, AG Flying, GA Etc. forum, further up the main page, at the top of that sub forum, there is a Looking for Work thread, probably best to post some details of yourself in there as it is viewed by all the Biz Jet people on here etc.

Best of luck.
