HI all,

I'm in possesion of a CPL with IR and MEP-IR. Recently I've took the FI rating .

The LAPL will came up very soon, so my question is if my license (FI(A)) could be valid for instructing the new LAPL.

I have been looking into the different regulations and circulars and can not find anything about it.
Its implementation will start in April 2015 Will this be the beginning or the target date for the license?

Thank you and good flights:ok:

Try Regulation 1178-2011 Privileges of the FI Certificate:FCL.905.FI FI — Privileges and conditions
The privileges of an FI are to conduct flight instruction for the issue, revalidation or renewal of:
(a) a PPL, SPL, BPL and LAPL in the appropriate aircraft category;Was this not covered on your FI Course?
In the UK, the LAPL has been around for 2 years now, however; most are conversions from other licences.

Although not many ATOs yet have the approval to teach for it, the LAPL has been available in the UK since 2012. Is Spain introducing it late/later?

Since you say you have only recently completed your FI Rating, then you must recently have been taught what Privileges you were training for, or at least where to look them up???

To answer your specific question - Privilege (a), see below.FCL.905.FI FI — Privileges and conditions
The privileges of an FI are to conduct flight instruction for the issue, revalidation or renewal of:
(a) a PPL, SPL, BPL and LAPL in the appropriate aircraft category;
(b) class and type ratings for single-pilot, single-engine aircraft, except for .......
