In the Failures and Associated Actions Below 1000 graphs, What is the exact meaning of the notes: IF NOSE WHEEL STEERING FAILED... or IF ANTI SKID FAILED...?

Can they fail after passing 1000 (triple click and single chime) and still we continue? (After you downgrade (to DH 50 instead of NO)?) Or is it supposed to be failed above 1000, the downgrade already made and it is a reminder of what you have to do?

Are these cases exceptions to the 5 rule (eng fail, A floor, APs OFF, single chime and triple click)?

(In the QRH Required equipment for cat 2 and cat 3 it can be seen that NWS and A/SKID are required for CAT 3 DUAL. We would downgrade to CAT 3 SINGLE (they are no longer required if we have visibility for a manual roll out))

My understanding is, as I was also told by a TRE during one of the sessions, that if you have to make an action (touch anything in the cockpit) you need to make a go around. Of course, I am refering to below 1000ft altitude.
If, as a consequence of the failure you'll have a triple click and a level 2 caution, for sure you need to make a go around.
Standing by for feedback from the others.

If anything happens above 1000ft you have to solve the problem and set the new minima according to the ldg capability. Then of course you may continue if the minima is applicable to the approach.

Hi MB,

the general concept to keep in mind is that below 1000 ft a go around is required "if not sufficient visual references". Your actions will then be based upon the present condition. The loss of Anti Skid requires some landing distance procedures and the loss of nose wheel steering some FCOM reading, all actions that you will not be able to do below 1000 ft in any case, unless you are really short on fuel or with another very time critical condition.

that makes sense. That is why I don't quite understand why they include it in the below 1000 ft section.

I think it`s 1000 AGL, not altitude BTW
